Extending Your Ladder

If you have a wooden ladder, you can extend it with another ladder. It is pretty straightforward. Make sure to cut off the ends of one ladder and screw it on with the ends of the other ladder. Make sure you glue the ends together as well and make sure to dry them before using the ladder. This is not the best option but make sure the ladder is steady and safe if you are using it.

Another easy way to extend your ladder is by buying an extending ladder. These ladders are usually foldable, but you can unfold and extend them. The ladders are pretty great and easy to use as well. When you extend the ladder, make sure you lock the system in place to avoid unfortunate events. If you do not lock the expandable part correctly, you can get some serious injuries.

Many people make the mistake of tying up two ladders to make a new one. Make sure that you never do this. This is a rookie mistake and if you fall under any circumstance or the ropes get loose, you could suffer serious injuries.

Building a Ladder Platform

You can also choose to build a ladder platform. Using a ladder platform, you can easily reach higher walls and ceilings if required. You can buy one that fits in your stars or even make one using wood. The platform fits your stairs, and you can keep the ladder on it. The ladder won’t slip from the place. This is a handy tool to have, and you can just store the ladder platform with your ladder.

If none of the above tricks work out for you, you can build a wooden or rope ladder according to your needs.
